Program terms
A referral counts once the person you referred subscribes and remains subscribed for 7 days. Self-referrals, duplicate addresses and disposable email addresses do not count.
Physical rewards (5 referrals and above) are reviewed before shipping. For these tiers, a referral counts only if the subscriber is still subscribed after 30 days and actively reads The Brief.
Major prizes (100, 500 and 1,000 referrals) are subject to a full audit before they are awarded. We verify that referrals are real, active and engaged subscribers, and the audit may take up to 30 days. Referrals that fail the audit are removed from your count. We may withhold any reward where we find fraudulent, automated or incentivized signups.
The 1,000-referral prize is limited to the first reader to reach it. The watch is selected by Marz Capital, with input from the winner on their preferences and style, and will have a retail value of at least US$1,500 and not exceeding US$3,000 at the time it is awarded.
Rewards are chosen by Marz Capital and may be substituted with an item of comparable value. Brands and models named are examples only and do not guarantee a specific make or model. Physical rewards ship to the United States, Canada, Mexico, the United Kingdom and the European Union. Elsewhere, we offer an equivalent alternative. Recipients are responsible for any taxes or import duties on their reward.
One reward per tier per subscriber. We may change or end the program at any time; rewards already earned will be honored.
